Event Logistics​

DrachenFest will take place at the Coopers Lake event site.  Parking is available at the campground.

 Participants must provide their own bedding.

Some common courtesies for joint sleeping in larp that we strongly encourage:

  • Keep phones and other modern-day devices and/or cords out of sight
  • Hide or cover obviously out-of-character bins or luggage
  • Cover obviously out-of-character bedding, for example with a plain, solid-colored flat-sheet

Single-stall showers are available throughout the campsite.

Food considerations: Coopers Lake has many nearby amazing food venues, and food vendors selling individual goods and meals may be present, but we always encourage bringing ones own snacks and meals. There is also a store on site, that offers groceries and camp neccessities.

Accessibility considerations: Wide open spaces with little shade. Roads and paths are paved but do not cover the entire site.

    These tickets are available for children ages 0-15. These attendees must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Proof of vaccination is still required. The Drake Academy Summer Camp experience (Ages 10-15) is available at an upcharge. See details under 'What you Get' in site menu.

  • Vendor Ticket (APPROVAL REQ.)

    Please visit the Vendor Information page under the 'get involved' heading for more details. Do not purchase these tickets without being officially approved through correspondence with the DrachenFest-US team. Submitting an application does not constitute approval. The allotment ticket is your admission ticket, including security deposit. Assistants must be registered under 'Assistant's Ticket' separately from your initial order. Stage Crew may only be present Mon-Wed and must leave by Noon 6/19.
