While training referees, we spotted a rule that got lost in the shuffle during rulebook layout. We'll go over this at Opening Ceremonies as well. Healers that chose the Leech specialty can also restore hit points! This sentence should be part of the Leech text: During treatment scenes with appropriate props, a Leech's patient heals 1 hp every five minutes. As normal, healing will not work until the patients wounds have been cleaned using First Aid. (To clarify: Someone who chose the Surgeon role can perform healing twice as quickly, restoring 2 hp every five minutes.)

I'd like to clarify a few aspects of late-night play at DrachenFest 2022. As the Warbook says, the last call to "initiate" a battle is 10:30pm. This doesn't mean the fighting needs to start by 10:30, it just means that by 10:30, your camp referee has been informed of your intent, and your battle force is gearing up to march on their enemy. In the interest of fair play, you also can't voluntarily move your Flags or Dragon Eggs after 10:30pm, as there is no opportunity for enemies to seize them in transit. Our Referees will go off duty at 1am. After that point, roleplay and diplomacy continue, but thievery becomes limited: You can't steal from camps or open enemy lockboxes You can't sabotage locations like the alchemy table, herb garden, or camp ritual shrine You may have skirmishes and smaller fights outside of the camps. Bandits (and bandit hunters) on the road are fair play! But be respectful of the player--if your victim is heading to bed or the showers, let them go. Does your camp need to have guards posted 24 hours a day? No! But until 1am, there is a chance for thieves and saboteurs to sneak into your camp. Full gameplay resumes in the morning at 9am.

UPDATED NOTE: THIS IS THE MAP FROM A PREVIOUS YEAR'S EVENT. IT IS NO LONGER ACCURATE! I am excited to share our fancy new map of Camp Sacajawea, including the bazaar, and the location of each faction's camp. Big thanks to our cartographer, @zach ! There are toilets/showers at the Tavern, and more just past Silver camp.

Welcome to the DrachenFest Forums! Let's get acquainted... I'd love to hear who you are, what character you're playing, and what camp you're most interested in. And if you've got your costume together, we'd love to see it too!
