Camp Map (2022)

As of now, the only information that has been released publicly is the rough location of all the camps. You have probably already seen that blog post. Rough Campsite Location (drachenfest.us) The exact location of where each individual camp will be located has not been released. From my understanding, this information will not be released prior to the event, and that when you arrive on site and check in you will be instructed as to where you camp is at.

Thanks. I had seen this information. I thought maybe we'd get a cool old-fashioned looking map like we had last year, and since the event is very close I thought maybe it would be out, but it's okay if they aren't doing that this time, I'm good with whatever.

We will be in a different site than last year, so map has to be revamped. The site is called Cooper's Lake Campground near Slippery Rock PA

They haven’t fully decided where everything is gonna be yet. They’ll post the map when they have.

You can arrive any time after 9:30 am on Tuesday.

There will also be porta-potties in the bazaar.

You'll be able to walk on the roads to the parking lot. But cars are not allowed on-site after game-on. If you're arriving late, your best bet is to grab some friends from your camp to help you carry your gear from the parking lot.

During the setup days, Tues June 7th & Wed June 8th until the opening ritual at ~8:30pm: The large loop will be a one-way, one lane traffic circle (slow walking pace max speed). This will allow you to unload your things directly at your camp and move them to where you are going to set up, and then go and park your car.

A referee will be present at the camps to welcome you, and to supervise the build & setup, as well as camp layout, ensuring that dropped off belongings won't be unattended. Our operations team at Check-in will give you a map, and a 'Welcome to DF' sheet with logistics guidance.

@Bela - Bazaar Coordinator excellent! I kept having haunting visions of making like 8 half-mile trips back and forth with all my stuff in the sweltering heat... 😰
