First, decide who you'll be!

You can bring a character from any fantasy world you've ever seen or played in to the festival. Whether they're from another larp, a tabletop game, or even books and movies, it's all okay as long as the character is from a fantasy world and they're your own original creation!

Then you'll decide what camp to join!

Next, choose a Camp.

Join one of five dragon camps—Silver, Red, Green, Blue, or Shadow—each embodying unique virtues, vices, and vibes that match your character’s ideals. Camp players compete to collect dragon eggs, win epic battles, and prove your dragon reigns supreme this year.

There's also the bazaar- which is a neutral player faction where camp players earn and spend coin or seek adventure at Enterprises and Guilds. You can join up as a bazaar player and bring the city to life! Check them out in the other tabs.

Red Camp
Driving Force of the Eternal Cycle

What makes a good Red Camp character?

Become a Champion of the Red Dragon if you seek glory and honor through action and mighty deeds! Known for its warriors, this Camp also boasts great artisans and crafters - those who work with their hands and take great pride in the results. The Avatar of the Red Dragon seeks out champions who work hard and enjoy the fruits of their labor.

Action & Deeds: Your deeds speak for you. No need for fancy words or courtly etiquette - the world will judge you by the work of your hands and your mighty deeds!
Valor & Honor: You cannot put a price on your good name. Your reputation comes before all things and is worth more to you than anything.
Righteous Wrath: This is the Camp most hungry for battle. You fight for what you hold dear. And wrongs will be paid for in blood.
Crafting & Trades: Valor can be found in many forms - including the crafting of beautiful objects and useful goods. You prize the works of your hands and take great care with all you create.

Green Camp
Keeper & Protector of the Eternal Cycle

What makes a good Green Camp character?

The Green Avatar is the Keeper of the Cycle - the protector of all things natural. Both life and death are valued equally. Followers of the Green Dragon are merciless masters of the wild, celebrating the fittest and keenest hunters.

The Hunt: You enjoy the pursuit of a worthy foe. The challenge of the Hunt calls to you.
The Wild: Nature in all its splendor and monstrousness calls to you. You seek the freedom of open spaces and to live without the gaudy splendor others seem to value
Mercilessness: The natural order must be maintained. Sometimes this requires sacrifice. You see nothing wrong with that.

What makes a good Silver Camp character?

All those who are noble of heart, heed the call of the Silver Dragon! The Avatar of the Silver Dragon values chivalry and mercy. They seek Justice and show Mercy - most of the time. But be warned, followers of the Silver Dragon are proud and filled with righteous anger towards those who wrong them.

Jurisprudence & Mercy: The Avatar of the Silver Dragon loves justice and mercy - as do their followers. You stand for what is right and good - always.
Chivalry & Noble virtues: You always demonstrate the most noble and correct behavior - especially in front of a crowd.
Righteous Wrath: Having answered the call of the Silver Dragon how can your character be in the wrong? And being right, how can you anger be unjustified?

Blue Camp

What makes a good Blue Camp character?

Join the Blue Camp and champion the Blue Dragon if you love adventure! The Blue Dragon and their followers live for freedom and merriment. Constantly looking for a good time, they are also always seeking to discover new things. Beware, though, if you cross them in a fight - especially over coin.

Freedom: Freedom means everything to you. Not in the sense that you can do as you please - but in that no one can ever force you to act against your will!
Discovery: You yearn to learn more about the world. And you can only learn by throwing yourself into interesting situations!.
Self Determination at all Costs: The right to self-determination is inherent to the Blue Dragon. You shall forge your own path. Always!
Greed: Love of gold and all things beautiful is a core aspect of the Blue Dragon. More is better!

Shadow Camp
The Domain of Magic & Death

What makes a good Shadow Camp character?

Knowledge of the secrets of the Universe and the unending quest for that knowledge motivate the Avatar of the Shadow Dragon. Their Champions are known to be cunning and delight in outsmarting their foes. But they are also witty and full of adventurous spirit. They know that everything that lives must die and everything that has a beginning must also have an ending.

Knowledge at any cost: You seek knowledge even when you dread what you might learn. All things that begin must end, but you want to know why!
Death & Destruction: You know that Death is part of the Eternal Cycle and that destruction is not always a bad thing. But you prefer that someone else be destroyed before you.
Cunning & Subterfuge: You are clever and use your wits. Why fight the other Camps when you can simply trick them into doing what you need?
Thirst for Power: All of Shadow Camp hungers for power. And you know that power comes in many forms.

Enterprises

Enterprises are player-run groups offering in game services for game currency: copper, silver, or gold opposed to merchant vendors who sell artisan goods and food for USD.

The guide to the right showcases bazaar enterprises that have returned year after year, helping you connect with them or explore what they offer to see if it's your vibe. Just keep in mind, enterprises can switch things up or close unexpectedly- they’re run by players, after all!

We’re building a welcoming, inclusive community where everyone feels safe and respected. Real world discrimination of any kind- racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism- has no place here. If harm occurs and your stated boundaries are ignored, report it- we can’t fix what we don’t know. A small, diverse team handles reports discreetly and fairly, focusing on accountability and growth, not shame. Repeated or blatant harm will result in a disinvitation from the event.

This is a space for fantasy, and creativity, not real world isms or even stereotypes. Tropes like “all elves are pale and thin” or “Dark Elves are inherently evil” don’t belong here. And to be clear- blackface drow are never acceptable. If you’re unsure about your concept, reach out! We’re happy to help you adapt it.

Ultimately, this space is about connection and storytelling. Respect the space, respect each other, and we’ll create magic. Cross the line, and you’ll lose the privilege to stay.
