Hello all! I am Claudio (they/them) and at Drachenfest this year I will actually be bringing in a new character, Noelle (she/her) who will be in the Silver Camp. She is a cleric of the silver dragon (I don't know if players can be dragon priests, I use "cleric" just to be safe) who heals and guides the devout amongst silver camp. She is very passive and fairly meek by comparison to others in her camp. While many of the silver dragon are detached emotionally, her biggest flaw is easily her attachment and love for others. This could come in conflict with her faith, although she is very devout in that category as well.
Plots I am looking for:
- Religious disputes or heresy
- Stories of mercy and forgiveness to enemies
- Teaching others the ways of light and truth from the silver dragon
- Possible romances that challenge her position as a cleric
No-go plots:
- Combat and physicality
- Being taken advantage of/manipulated (I know that is very common, it just doesn't sit well with me for this character)
Wonderful character art by @seajart on instagram
Blackwood is committing all sorts of hersey! Find a Tiefling at the Mages guild if you want to get all sanctimonious and literally holier-than-thou
Hello Claudio! It's always a pleasure with you and I'm sure this time will be a blast as well. If you find any enemies in need of forgiveness or mercy or you'd like to plead for, the BRASS BRIGADE will undoubtedly be after the wrongdoer, and Capt. Rooks (Me) will be able to have his ear bent for some good ole' RP
@Femboy D&D !!! Amazing, very much looking forward to meeting their priestess!!
Sounds good!
Looking forward to Tristram and Noelle teamups! I assume she can heal? He's bound to need that.
If you're looking for outside of Silver Camp players for plots too, I'd be interested if you are as well. Religious disputes could be interesting, I'm still developing my character but I'm leaning towards deities being real in the world they come from, and they don't worship the local ones. If you want a romance that challenges Noelle's position as a cleric, an inter-camp romance is probably a good way to do that. But I will add that I am pretty new to roleplaying.
Noelle believes there is more to the silver dragon's light than simply creation and truth, but that goodness and love are products of that light as well. I would love to use that as a common ground between Noelle and Alicia's inherent goodness so that they may find hope in prayer together.
Hello!!! I'm Raquel I'm playing Alicia Dura, I am the silver camp second!
(Meaning when the Silver Avatar isn't around, I act in their stead/lead)
I love your concept!
You are correct that a dragon priest/priestess is a real role in the game. What they are yet exactly hasn't been released by the story tem yet. But as long as you are a cleric that is a devout follower there should be no confliction!
Alicia is a true good character but not overly devout, so if you'd like to have religious chats or talk about philosophy she's your girl! She's also the one that has lead many through the mists and is trying to become a master healer!
So I hope we can interact alot! 💕
Welcome to Silver Camp, Noelle! While my character is a bit combat-leaning, Im definitely down for more of the role playing aspects, particularly what you said about mercy to enemies. My character’s ideology is that our entire universe is always in a struggle to maintain balance. Good/evil, light/dark, spicy/sweet, etc., so he works to help make it easier for balance. Let’s say a local lord is squeezing every cent possible from the locals in taxes. Grimsong might personally step in and while he wouldn’t outright kill the lord(power vacuums upset the balance) his sense of justice would kick in and he’d likely grab said lord by the shirt collar, drag him down the street, and show him the squalor of his poorest citizens’ living situation.
Obviously, this sort of disregard for social hierarchy comes in conflict with many other ideologies, particularly noble birthrights. Grimsong’s logic is that if a person in a position of power feels the need to exert that power on the weak, then they don’t deserve the power bestowed upon them.
So thats my 2 cents as an offer for a “party member”, I guess. He‘s practically aromantic, so romance plots are kinda out, but if you’re looking for someone with good stories tied in with his faith in True Balance, I’m your guy. Hit me up in camp if you’d like.
