Hey hi hello! My name is Miriam (she/her), and I'll be playing Esmeralda Eventide. As a reporter for The Nest of Times (the current working name of the newspaper (ETA the name is now official!)), I'll be searching for the inside scoop on everything, so if you think you can give it to me, I'll be the woman in the bright orange pinafore (pictures to follow)! You can catch me getting involved at the Bazaar, wielding the Big Stick, and repairing armor- for a small fee. If any enterprising warriors wanna play the Superman to my Lois Lane, feel free to hit me up- I'm handy with a weapon, but I'm handier with a quill.
On the Miriam side of things, I've been larping since 2019, and Camp Sac is actually also the location of my home game, Knight Realms. I've played D&D since about 2014, back when we were all eagerly awaiting 5th edition, but I've been playing out stories since always and forever. I'm really looking forward to gaming with y'all!
@Miriam | Esmeralda Eventide First off, bang up job you did IC and as editor! Second , is it possible to get digital copies of the Nest of Times from this years event?
If you'll help make sure I don't get shanked by bandits as I run around town looking for stories, I'll consider it a fair trade!
Yesssssss, all of those ideas sound great! I look forward to it!
Edit: @Watch-Capt. Rooks (Ali Shubbar) This was meant to be a reply to your comment, but I must have pressed the wrong button, so tagging you for reference
"Not a Superman, ma'am. Just a Watchmin with a job to do." But I'd be totally stoked to RP it up and either listen to, answer for, pump for info, or try to avoid that noisy reporter, hot on the case! 😄
Miriam! I'd love to do what I can to help out with catching any scoops and relaying them! Lighthearted news and drama is my bread and butter within the LARP community! I'd love to translate a bit of that from the computer screen to a fluid, worldbuilding based enterprise!
Welcome Miriam! The newspaper is one of the things I have been the most excited for! Cannot wait to see your work!
