So it's probably a bit tedious for some, but what I did was take screenshots of the pages, and print them out. I had the time and didn't mind doing it. In retrospect I could have skipped printing all the combat stuff since I'm non com.

Yeah, I ended up just grabbing the text and pasting it into a word document myself too. The documents are a lot shorter and way more readable without all the graphics and slide transition animations.

First, to clarify the "early arrival" days.. Rather than the event being purely OOG, and then suddenly snapping IG at the opening ritual, we consider the early arrival days to be a gradual ease into game space. Many people will begin playing their character as soon as they can--they just need to respect that the environment won't be fully set up yet, and others may not be ready to join them in-character. But generally, the space gets more IG the closer we get to the opening ritual.

Each camp manages its own leadership selection process. The final call is made by the Avatar, generally on Wednesday, before the opening ritual. So if you aren't coming to the early arrival days, you can still be your camp's Spymaster / Champion / etc.

In Year 1, we knew the camp's dynamics would need some extra quiet-time to establish themselves, so we didn't allow any war play to happen until Thursday morning. This year, the war play can begin as soon as the opening ritual completes!

The opening ritual signals the beginning of the competition elements and quests, as well as the camp leader's IG and OOG responsibilities. (OOG responsibilities? yes, our refs depend on camp leaders for various kinds of group calibration) That's why leadership selection needs to happen before the opening ritual - if you have to agree on a counselor while you're under siege, that decision could be postponed until the game is well underway.
