DrachenFest: Origins

Event Logistics​

DrachenFest will take place at the well-appointed Camp Sacajewea.  Parking is available at the campground, see the schedule for details.

Housing is available in standalone cabins. Each cabin space is different, but generally offer wooden bunks with camping mattresses. Participants must provide their own bedding.

Some common courtesies for joint sleeping in larp that we strongly encourage:

• Keep phones and other modern-day devices and/or cords out of sight
• Hide or cover obviously out-of-character bins or luggage
• Cover obviously out-of-character bedding, for example with a plain, solid-colored flat-sheet

Single-stall showers are available throughout the campsite.

Food considerations: Sparta, New Jersey has many nearby amazing food venues, and food vendors selling individual goods and meals may be present, but we always encourage bringing ones own snacks and meals.

Accessibility considerations: Stairs, rough terrain. Trails are wide but mostly dirt or gravel.
