DrachenFest US
Medieval fantasy LARP festival in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania
DrachenFest US is the largest full immersion, medieval fantasy LARP (live-action roleplaying) festival in the US, held in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania each June.
Imagine a fully-realized Renaissance fair with nearly 1,500 players in full costume, all playing unique characters exploring the shared story of a LARP.
Create a new character, or revive a favorite from a past tabletop RPG or LARP. Choose which Dragon's camp you'll join and defend in massive battles and sieges, or scheme through the city's underground, or simply explore a player-driven world full of story.
Your event ticket includes an early-arrival day to set up your campsite and meet your campmates, followed by nearly four days and five nights of gameplay.

New to DrachenFest?
DrachenFest is a fully immersive LARP event featuring five uniquely-themed camping areas and an enormous festival city known as the Bazaar. Your character can be a fighter, a diplomat, a surgeon, a crafter, or nearly anything you might choose!
And it's okay if you've never LARP'd before. It's a bit like a Murder/Mystery Dinner Theatre experience, only you get to help create the story as your character.

Bringing Family?
The Drake Academy is our in-game youth program for kids 10-15 years of age. The daily program features unique quests, basic roleplay and combat training, and custom-crafted adventures for Academy attendees while their parents explore the event knowing their child is safe. Academy Professors teach the world of DrachenFest in a safe, fun way, tailored to the kids' ages and levels of LARP experience.
The Five Dragons
Attendees of DrachenFest US play the role of champions, summoned from other worlds to join one of five dragon camps: Silver, Red, Green, Blue, or Shadow. Each Dragon embodies unique virtues, vices, and aesthetics, encouraging players to select the one which best fits their character’s ideals. The Dragon Camps compete with one another to collect dragon egg trophies and prove their dragon reigns supreme each year. In addition, some champions are summoned to inhabit the Bazaar, a neutral festival city serving all those called by the dragons. Which Dragon Camp will your character be part of?
Blue
The Blue Dragon calls to those who throw off the chains of the past and live life to the fullest!
Shadow
Followers of the Shadow Dragon embrace the hidden, terrible truths found in darkness.
Green
The Green Avatar is the protector of all things natural, including life and death.
Silver
Those with a noble heart, hear the call of the Silver Dragon!
Red
The Red Dragon calls to those who crave action, glory, and honor.
Bazaar
The Bazaar is a neutral faction where Vendors, Enterprises, and Guilds create a bustling medieval city full of adventure.
